Looking For A Blogger

Since InsideMicrosoft has joined InsideGoogle as a well-trafficked blog, I think the time is ready to expand a little further. I'd like to start another blog, but I won't be writing it. In case it isn't obvious at this point, I'm building a network (and don't be surprised if everything moves to a domain in the next few weeks). So, I haven't settled on the topic of the blog (and it needn't be tech-related), but I am looking for an untapped, dedicated blogger. The blog would have to have a news focus, and be updated constantly and consistently. Feel free to suggest possible topics as well (InsideApple, InsidePolitics, InsideGadgets) that you'd like to see explored. If you know of anyone who I should consider, IM me (check the profile) or comment with contact info.

And yes, there is money involved.

Those are all good ideas, you might even focus the Apple one more with an Inside-iPod (I inserted a dash because InsideiPod just looked odd). I think the gadget one would be very good, and could compete with Engadet and Gizmodo (both excellent sites). I might also suggest InsideSatRadio, InsidePDA, and I'm sure I could come up with more.

The only one I might stay away from would be InsidePolitics. As someone who runs a political blog (right-leaning) I know it's tough to find readership for a middle of the road site as most people tend to look for views with which they agree.

But I've been interested in doing something in a tech blog for sometime now, and would love to discuss with you your ideas.

Great idea indeed. How 'bout InsideMSN? It would be very helpful if you could separate it from InsideMicrosoft. Just a thought...

I'm not sure separating the MSN stuff from the Microsoft stuff is doable. MSN is such a big part of Microsoft's strategy these days, plus it would require a lot of extra work. MSN is the internet- (and blog-friendly) division, so unless Microsoft is about to release a new version of Windows, the only good stuff is coming from MSN. Now, if someone were interested in doing just the Microsoft stuff, maybe something could be arranged...
